History

History of CMC Alumni Association

The old students of Calicut Medical College established the Alumni association in 1980.

The Aim & Objectives are as follows

1)     To impart a sense of co-operation and healthy understanding among the old
   students, present students and teaching staff of Calicut Medical College, to
   maintain the pride of our Alma-mater.

2) To promote the academic, cultural and social activities of the students and
teaching staff.

3) To uphold the dignity of our profession and safeguard the rights and privileges of
the profession in general

4) Render mutual help in difficult situations

5) To undertake projects that will help development of Calicut Medical College in
various spheres.

As years went by, the enthusiasm shown by our predecessors helped the Alumni Association to diversify its areas of activities to various dimensions.
